I drive engineering and product on an experimental team focused on reaching new users through non-traditional surfaces (Connectivity Lab). Day-to-day, I lead the ideation, technical development and roadmapping of our work, while serving as the resident CSS wizard.
2014 – 2015
Imagineer, Research (Product management) — Walt Disney Imagineering
I drove productization of research projects, roadmaped product development and managed pilots at Walt Disney World.
I can't talk about most of my work, but I helped turn the park into a personalized identity-driven experience (MyMagic+/MagicBand) and built machine learning systems that underpin the park.
2011 – 2014
Product Lead — FlightAware
FlightAware helps travellers track their flights. Drove experimental projects that ultimately led to some of the foundations of the company (Alerts, Misery Map), managed a major WebSockets system and led the product in the transition from a utility to a travel destination.

  • Various consulting projects with startups, including a 6-month engagement with Hipmunk rebuilding their hotel search from the ground up (React-based).
  • Helped teach Harvard's courses on data visualization and data science (200+ students) for three years, with stellar teaching evaluations.
  • Founded TEDxMontreal (600+ attendees) and grew the team to 40+ over 3 years.
  • Developer-in-residence at Techstars, advising young portfolio companies on foundational technical and product decisions.
